Explore Flame Cafe

Flame Cafe, located at 4220 Florin Rd, Sacramento, CA 95823, offers a delightful taste of Hong Kong-style cuisine. Nestled next to the 99 Ranch Market, this bustling restaurant serves up a variety of popular dishes that capture the essence of Hong Kong's culinary tradition. The dining experience at Flame Cafe is characterized by quick, friendly service, and while the restaurant tends to get quite busy, especially during weekend lunch hours, it's well worth the wait.

One of the standout dishes at Flame Cafe is their Baked Pork Chop in Tomato Sauce, a classic Hong Kong-style favorite. Served over fried rice, the pork chop is tender, and the tangy, rich tomato sauce elevates the entire dish. Another popular choice is the Chicken Steak Curry, a comforting, aromatic dish that perfectly complements a bowl of rice. The curry is light and flavorful, offering a distinct taste of the Hong Kong-style curry that's beloved by many.

While the food receives high marks for its quality and authenticity, it’s worth noting that there can be a bit of a challenge when it comes to some dishes, such as the chopped chicken, which has been reported to occasionally have cracked bones. Despite this minor issue, the overall dining experience is enjoyable, with many visitors expressing their eagerness to return and explore other menu offerings.

The cafe's ambiance is clean and comfortable, with a dining room that reflects the casual, yet inviting nature of the restaurant. Although the shared parking lot with 99 Ranch Market can get crowded, especially during peak times, the food and service make it a go-to spot for those craving authentic Hong Kong-style dishes in Sacramento.

Food was great. Service was fantastic. Will come back to try other dishes. The only problem was the chopped chicken has too many cracked bones that kept jabbing our mouths. Was not nice when the cracked bones hit my teeth.

The Flame Cafe is a Hong Kong-style restaurant next to or attached to the 99 Ranch Market. The food is pretty good, and the service is fast. They are usually very busy on the weekends, especially during the lunch hour. I'll expect to wait for a table if I go there after noon. The dining room is clean, and the parking lot is busy due to the 99 Ranch Market sharing the same parking lot.

I tried the Baked Pork Chop in Tomato Sauce. A classic HK-style food! It served over fried rice, the pork chop was tender, and the tomato sauce was rich, tangy. Also had the Chicken Steak Curry. The curry was on the watery side, but it tastes like HK-style curry. Light, aromatic, and perfect with rice. Love the HK style food

Amazing Hong Kong style Cafe!!! I really like their sizzling steak they had as well as the baked spaghetti they also have! Service was quick and easy as well as ordering. I really like the ambiance with the different colors and even the wood paneling as well as their signature dog hanging on the wall! They also have Thai milk, tea and Hong Kong style milk tea with very special shaped ice in the form of a bear and dog!
